Parent Advisory Group | PAG
ISG values the active involvement of parents as partners in providing the highest quality learning environment
The Parent Advisory Group is a space for exchange and communication between the school and the parents, and provides focused feedback on policy and procedures that support the operation and direction of the school.
The Parent Advisory Group meets once a month with the Elementary and Secondary School Leadership team to discuss various issues that arise during the school year and to support the implementation of the Mission Statement Guidelines and Our Learning Approach.
At ISG, we believe parents play a vital role in the learning journey of their children
Focus of discussions have included among the others:
- After School Programming
- Social Emotional Curriculum
- Most Effective Communication with Families and Community
- Home Learning, Including Holiday and Weekend Learning
Parents from all grade levels from across the school are welcome to participate. We believe that this is an opportunity for the school to also gain a deeper understanding from the perspective of the parents.
The Parent Advisory Group meets the last Tuesday of the month at 8:30 in the Cafeteria.
If you are interested in joining the PAG, please contact the Primary School Principal, Ms. Christine Berk (christine.berk@isgenoa.it) or Mr. Jody Lee Parker, the Secondary School Principal (jody.parker@isgenoa.it)
