LEARNING BEYOND
ACADEMICS
We believe in offering students opportunities to explore their individual talents and discover new interests outside the regular school hours, so that they have a chance to shine in different ways.
ISG provides engaging activities and clubs tailored to meet the needs of each year group, all of them supporting and transmitting the school’s core values.
All activities nurture interpersonal relationships and a feeling of community, help students become more culturally aware, and foster concepts such as collaboration, cooperation, and teamwork.
All activities are run by professional and knowledgeable teachers and instructors. The After school program schedule varies from year to year, depending on interest.
AFTER-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

Structure and Calendar
The Program is divided into three trimesters:
TRIMESTER 1: September 22th – December 16th
TRIMESTER 2: January 7th – March 18th
TRIMESTER 3: March 25th – June 3nd
Activities will run once or twice a week, from 3:45 pm to 4:45 pm (unless specified otherwise).
Every course must reach the minimum number of registrations to start. It is possible to enrol in courses which have been activated for the current year and which are not full. We will inform Parents in good time which courses have not been activated.
The Child Care Club (the extended day care service) for students from 2 to 7 years old is run from 3:20 pm to 5:20 pm and it is offered 5 days a week. It follows the school calendar. More information here below.

CHILD CARE CLUB (Ages 2 - 7)
THE EXTENDED DAY SERVICE
Several parents need to leave their children in school longer than dismissal time. The school provides the Child Care Club service to meet this need: the school day can be extended until 5:20 pm, Monday through Friday up to 5 weekdays. During this time, ECE and elementary students participate a variety of activities, including free playtime, movies, and storytelling, under the supervision of ISG staff. BABYSITTING CLUB
You can extend your child’s school day until 5:20 pm for three or 5 days a week. Students will be offered a variety of activities, including free playtime, movies, and storytelling.
Parents will be able to collect their children from 4:45 pm on, Monday through Friday. Students can be registered for 3 weekdays or 5 weekdays.
It will eventually be possible to modify the selected weekdays before the club starts, based on the available spots.

MATH CLUB
ITALIAN B CLASS
Are you looking for a complete and exciting Italian language programme? You have found what you were looking for! Drop off your children and join us!
This course will enable students to learn vocabulary, grammar, and spoken Italian. Parents will be asked to buy a book at the beginning of the course.

- Make-up sessions will be offered at the end of Trimester 3 (for the activities that run for the year, otherwise at the end of the course) in case your activity is canceled due to an early dismissal or the teacher in charge cancels the lesson for personal reasons.
- Payments are due within 14 days form the confirmation of the course.
- Behavioral Expectations: all After School Activities are viewed as an extension of the curricular day. Students in the ASA programs will need to adhere to ISG behavioral policies and procedures. Students who do not manage their behavior appropriately during ASA sessions will be invited to “not attend” future sessions without a refund.

Refunds are only given when an activity is canceled due to insufficient numbers. Most activities require a minimum of 5 students and may be canceled if minimum enrollment is not reached. Refunds are not given when a student chooses to drop out of an activity at any time during the year.
